Boost your Productivity and Motivation. 16: Take advantage of your commute.

Being productive doesn’t mean constantly working all hours of the day.

It means making most of the hours you have.

Resting well as well as working well, both need to be balanced to ensure that not only are you able to be consistent in your work but you are also taking care of yourself and being your best at the same time.

And sometimes we have little pockets of time that we can use effectively to help the rest of the day go by more productively.

We are beginning to go back to the normality of using public transport, according to the government regulations of keeping safe distance and using safety precautions.

That means travelling with space around.

This could also mean catching up on more rest (or sleep if you are the type of person that can drift off almost anywhere) because you had a late and eventful night.

But if you had made sure that you had slept early enough to get the rest you need, you could instead use the time (and space for some that didn’t exist before especially during peak hours) to begin the day on a more productive note.

Reading emails, meeting notes, starting to brainstorm, researching presentation ideas and even preparing a to-do list during your commute can make the rest of the go by much easier.

You could start catching up on what needs to be done so that when you get to your workplace, not only are you aware of what’s to come in the day but you have already made a start.

Beginning your day earlier could also ensure that you do not need to stay behind late, which is a bonus to catch up on whatever you need to do for the rest of the day.

Its the little consistent things that can in the long run make a large impact in your life.

But it is up to you to what you to decide what those little habits are and to remain focused and motivated to continue them

You can achieve anything you set your sights on, but you have to believe you can.

Reflect. Love. Heal.
